What types of bonuses will be allowed or prohibited with the new regulation?

With the new regulations in Brazil, as of 1/1/25 some important changes will be implemented in relation to the bonuses offered by betting operators:

Prohibited Bonuses

  • Welcome or promotional bonuses dependent on deposits: Any offer that requires an initial deposit or other type of financial contribution will be vetoed.
  • Bonuses linked to deposit amount: Promotions such as "deposit and win" will also not be able to be offered.

 

Why are these changes happening?

The main objective of these changes is to encourage responsible gaming and protect players from promotional practices that may generate risky behaviors.

 

What about the allowed bonuses?

The new rules also allow operators to explore creative ways to offer benefits, as long as they are not directly linked to prior deposits or financial contributions.
